Beginning her career as a lecturer in mathematical statistics at Hanoi Medical University, Nguyen Thi Dung developed an approach grounded in logic, precision and analysis. She later contributed her expertise to data management within the Ministry of Health.
Her experience as a consultant to the World Bank, together with three periods of professional study in the United States and Israel, broadened her perspective on healthcare management and development. These experiences brought an international approach together with an understanding of Vietnam’s practical needs.

Lifelong learning has remained a constant throughout her career. Approaching the age of sixty, she completed an international Master of Business Administration programme taught in English. This milestone reflected a consistent choice: to keep learning, strengthen her management knowledge and bring more to her profession.
Drawing on her academic foundations and accumulated experience, she helped build Mediconsult’s work in healthcare infrastructure and medical equipment consulting. Across each stage, the emphasis remained on careful, well-founded advice that responds to the practical needs of healthcare.

Having navigated challenges in life, she returned to her work with composure and a lasting commitment to her profession. Those experiences reinforced her persistence, sense of responsibility and desire to keep contributing to healthcare.
